Who We are…
Welcome to Slade Farm Organics, we’re Polly and Graeme third generation tenant farmers here in St Brides Major. We farm with nature and work with our local community to deliver sustainable organic produce throughout the year. Our system of farming is built on sustainability, we have a closed cycle of nutrients that means all of our animals and crops are fed from this parcel of land, here in South Wales. We are truly sustainable. All our produce has been born, raised and harvested on the farm.
Step off the path and into the tangled green edges of Slade Farm — where wildflowers bloom, skylarks sing, and neighbours become naturalists for the day. In this podcast, join us on a joyful, surprising journey through the hedgerows of South Wales, where local people rediscover the land, biodiversity, and their relationship with food and farming.
Featuring stories from families, fungi-finders, and first-time explorers, is about more than plants — it’s about connection. Hear real voices, field recordings, and expert insights as we uncover the life, history, and hope held in these ancient field boundaries.
