Deliveries
Goods can be despatched any day of the week, we can agree delivery dates when we contact you on the phone.  Joints and steaks can be delivered fresh or frozen , however our sausages, burgers and mince are delvered frozen. Insulation material is made from wool and provision is made for its return & reuse. If you will not be at home to receive the meat, please let us know if it can be left with a neighbour as the courier will leave a card not the box if it cannot be signed for. Alternatively you can arrange for the delivery to be sent to your workplace, relative or neighbour.

Delivery Costs
Free delivery is avalable locally to Barry, Porthcawl, Bridgend, Cowbridge & Llantwit Major.  For other locaions delivery costs £8 for orders up to £120 in value, £5 for orders between £120 and £200 and delivery is FREE over £200 providing the liners are returned to us. Our meat is vacuum packed and labelled and then placed inside an insulated box with dry ice.

Packaging
Our packaging is made using 100% pure wool, woolcool® insulated packaging which is sustainable, biodegradable and recyclable. The natural wool insulation is hygienically sealed in recyclable food-grade wrap to create cushioning liners for a range of recycled and recyclable cardboard delivery boxes. This type of packaging is a lot more expensive than polystyrene boxes but we believe it’s worth it. The cardboard can be recycled and if you wanted to return the fleece insulation to us for reuse, please contact us and we can arrange for it to be collected.

Terms and Conditions
Sorry but we can only accept orders within certain parts of the United Kingdom. We are unable to deliver to the Highlands of Scotland, Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands and other offshore islands. We reserve the right to terminate our agreement with you if we are refused authority for payment at any stage. Should your order arrive in an unsatisfactory condition, please contact us immediately and we will aim to resolve the matter by replacing the goods or refunding the value.

Payment
We will call you to take payment via Credit / Debit Card before we despatch your goods. Please place all orders through the Slade Farm Organics Online Shop.
